Milena Govich

 Milena Govich, a Serbian actress, director and singer was born on on the 29 the year 1976. She is well-known for her part as NYPD Detective Nina Cassady in Law & Order.



 



 Education and early life



 Govich was born in Norman County, Oklahoma. The late Dr. Bruce Michael Govich who passed away in 1998, and Dr. Marilyn Green Govich[2] were her parents. Marilyn currently teaches voice and Bruce worked as a professor at the University of Oklahoma. Her mother is English and Scottish while her father is Serbian. Milica Govich her aunt is also an actress and has been on Broadway as well as television as well as in films.



 



 Milena was the class valedictorian at Norman High School in 1995. Following the example of her academic parents, Milena graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma as valedictorian. The following year, she received an honors degree in the field of performance and premedical sciences and an additional minor in dance and violin. After graduation, Govich moved to New York City to pursue a career in acting.
